What would you do if your employer refused to pay you? Most believe this kind of thing almost never happens, but with the NatWest conundrum, predicaments like this have been getting more attention. One would think that after one failure to pay your salary, you would be able to claim constructive dismissal and resign. However, this can actually only be done if your employer persistently fails to pay your salary. If this happens, your company may end up becoming insolvent, making you a preferential creditor. If this is not enough, you may be paid out of the national insurance fund.
