Alan Jones of the Independent News, writes about the 35,000 drop in unemployment figures. The numbers however are not great, and there is much variety in the data to add a level of nuance to the good news. The unemployment rate for women is still very high, and many of the job increases come from part time work. However all of this is in the context of reductions in government positions.
