Most schools ‘have reduced careers advice’

It seems that young adults nearing the end of their high school career may have more difficulties finding job after they graduate – but it’s not all due to the lack of jobs available.  Since September 2012, schools in England shown a dramatic reduction in the amount of career advice and guidance offered to students.  Since the government decided to leave career guidance up the schools alone, it has been shown that less than 20 percent of schools have retained their careers services for students.

Part of these cuts is due to a tight labor market which has forced schools to relinquish services that were previously offered.
