Is the corporate world really against 50+ job seekers?

Corporate organizations are hiring fifty plus job seekers. Their past work record and ability to learn and adapt to change seems not to ebb with age. If anything, corporate companies are more likely to hire these people. The rate is thirty percent higher than entry level applicants. Are the odds in their favor? I think so
