Employment laws make it hard for small businesses to hire workers

Small businesses aren’t always lucky enough to have a dedicated human resources department to help screen proper employees and carefully follow through with dismissal practices.  This means that smaller businesses cannot afford to make costly errors when hiring an employee, only to find that they’re not qualified for the job.

Small businesses have been allowing employees to share ownership with the company, thus increasing the chances that they’ll be dedicated to their position – and any profits made by employee are free from capital gains tax.  However, this means that hiring processes must be more astringent in order to select the right candidate for the job.
