Co-op to stop selling life insurance after 125 years | Business | The Guardian

Not great reading. Certainly not when the sub-title reads “750 sales experts to lose their jobs as Co-op opts to use Axa to provide its insurance products in future”

Fortunately a bit further down the article it actually says 670 people will loose their jobs since they are the field based employees. The others will move to Axa who will provide the insurance.

The union is pressing for redeployment and a fair process for those who can’t find another job.
