Taking a look at the global gender gap in employment, Jaela Bernstien, shows that in one fourth of countries women are far less likely than men to be working at their full capacity. Ten percent of the world’s female workforce is currently unemployed, while studies show that working women also perceive their job opportunities as less favourable than men. However, according to Canadian data it appears that Women with university level education experience a more level playing field when it comes to employment opportunities.
