We recently wrote about an article which stated that 90% of UK jobs go to foreign workers. Ian Duncan Smith urged companies to hire more British.
In this article companies reject this call and “David Frost, director general of the British Chambers of Commerce, said employers hired eastern Europeans because often they were better workers.”
In our previous article we made a case that jobs are competed on based on skills, competencies and experience. One factor we did not highlight is attitude. Our clients all want jobs so attitude is not really an issue but if a recruiter or hiring manager can identify that your heart is not in it your chances are slim.
Your attitude towards getting a job is key. Getting a job is hard work and you need to give 100% or someone else will get it.
