Bankruptcy Laws in England and Wales

Bankruptcy laws differ in England and Wales when compared to Scotland and Northern Ireland.  A minimum debt of 750 pounds is required to go bankrupt, which is not all that hard considering the average debt.  A debt advisor can offer their opinion on how to handle a bankruptcy, which may be public information when listed in the insolvency register.
