About Nicole
Nicole O’Driscoll holds a Ph.D in English Literature and has over a decade of experience in freelancing writing and tutoring. While spending all those years studying she self-funded first with a career in nursing (both general and mental health), before moving to the voluntary sector to set up and manage two projects – one in volunteer management, the second in mental health management. When she is not freelancing, she now mentors for a homelessness charity.
As much as she loves the world of writing, reading and ruminating, ‘staying in the real world’ as she puts it, has always been one of the most important aspects of being successful in her work. Nicole has a heartfelt love and respect for other people’s stories, and firmly believes that taking pride in our own life stories is the guarantee of our success.
